Race Venue: Palawan Green @ Sentosa Island

 

Singapore has one of the busiest airports in the world, with hundreds of flights in and out of Changi Airport every day. From the airport, Sentosa Island is approximately 25-minutes away via a taxi ride or about an hour train-ride through the city center.

 

For convenience and accessibility, accommodations in Sentosa Island would be best. 

 

Staying in the city is also a good option if you want to be nearer Singapore sights and food. For easy access from city to Sentosa Island (usually via MRT), best areas to stay are:

- Tanjong Pagar,

- Tiong Bahru,

- Telok Blangah, and

- Chinatown.

 

​You can enter Sentosa Island via MRT, bus, or taxi. Do note that if you are traveling via MRT/bus, you will need to purchase entry tickets at Sentosa Express Station in Vivo City Mall 3rd Floor. See details below.

 

Directions: Head to Beach Station, Sentosa via Bus/MRT or taxi/car

 

a) via Bus/MRT/Sentosa Express

• get off at Harbourfront MRT Station or bus stop at Vivo City Mall and follow the exit going to Sentosa Express Station located at the 3rd floor, beside Food Republic.

• buy your Sentosa Express ticket: $4/ticket roundtrip fare (Do note that it can get crowded during the weekend. We recommend buying your tickets online to avoid delays)

• get off at Beach Station (last stop on the Sentosa Express)

b) via Taxi/Car

• follow the road going to Beach Station car park.  After entering the island, take the rightmost exit at the 1st roundabout (Artillery Avenue).  Take the left side of the road (Beach View Rd) when it forks. Le Meridien Hotel is along the way, just before Beach Station car park.

From Beach Station: Walk to Palawan Green

• After exiting Beach Station, walk towards the water.  Palawan Green is situated in front of the Beach Station car park, a 1-2-minute walk away.
